Regular Closing Day: None

We are also open on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays. From 15:00 to 18:00, we only sell Yuba products.

About Senmaruya & Our Yuba Hotpot Lunch

Founded in 1804 in the heart of Kyoto, Senmaruya has dedicated more than two centuries to crafting Kyoto yuba (tofu skin) with time-honored techniques. Our lunch features a gentle, soy-rich hotpot where fresh yuba is the star—light, protein-rich, and naturally suitable for a wide range of diets. Enjoy the delicate texture of freshly scooped yuba, seasonal vegetables, and Kyoto flavors served in a calm, modern space inside our main store.

Whether you are discovering yuba for the first time or revisiting a favorite Kyoto staple, our lunch is designed to highlight the depth and purity of soy. After 15:00, the dining space closes and our retail counter remains open so you can take home freshly made yuba as a souvenir or for your meals at home.

The last order for the Senmaruya Main Store’s dining space is at 15:00. From 15:00 to 18:00, only Yuba sales are available.
